AGAIN ON MAYAN'S CALENDAR AND THE WORD OF GOD-THE BIBLE
I read history books and from it I believed they do exist. Findings of some world known archaeologogist proved also their very existence. Their history, culture and their contribution to the world especially in the field of astronomy is something that our modern scientist appreciated. How they built their houses high up on the mountain of South America is still the source of an exhaustive research to this very day. I knew a little of this people based on history books, they offer their own children as sacrifice to appease their gods. And according to what I read, it is through their calendar (the Mayan Calendar) that says December 21, 2012, is the day.
But to me who had been reared a practicing christian since birth, and who also believed in the "end of our time", but not end of the world as other writer says. If their way of writing is literal, the end of the world to me the disappearance to everything living and non living. If so, to whom shall Jesus be ruling, in order to give prize for those who have been loyal to him as the bible tell us he would ? This is what I what I read:
A) Matthew 25-14 Watch out because you do not know the day of the hour.
B) Luke Chapter 12-40 And you, too, must be ready, because the
Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting it.
C) Mark 13- 13 to 32 AND 33. "NO ONE KNOWS, HOWEVER WHEN THAT DAY OR HOUR WILL COME, NEITHER THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, NOR THE SON, ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS. Be alert for you do not know when the time will come."
Be as it may be, hold on to your firm belief in God the Father. He who will hold on to the last will be saved. "Do not be afraid because I shall be with you till the end of time," says the Lord. Matthew 10-22
